Services and Fees:
Preparation of Premarital, Post Marital, and Marital Settlement Agreements: $1,500
ORDER SERVICES
The document created is customized to your circumstances and drafted by a California Certified Specialist in Family Law. The fee includes up to 3 hours of attorney consultation in gathering information and answering questions about options to solve particular issues, and in making revisions. The fee charged is sufficient for 90% of cases. If it appears that the standard fee will not cover the anticipated project, this will be discussed before any charges are incurred. If necessary, additional time is available for attorney consultations and drafting at the rate of $350 per hour. The initial questionnaire you complete will take about 15 minutes of your time, and the comprehensive questionnaire will take about 3 hours of your time. The comprehensive questionnaire must be completed fully before the first consultation with the Attorney.
Preparation of Transmutation Agreement: $750.00
ORDER SERVICES
This fee is for the preparation of the Transmutation Agreement only. It does not include the preparation of any transfer documents. For example, if a client wishes to transmute title of an automobile from the separate property of one spouse to the separate property of the other spouse, or to community property, the document created will establish the intent of the parties and make any actual transfer valid under California's transmutation statues. However, the DMV documents will still need to be completed and filed with the DMV.
Preparation of Child Support Calculation: $500.00
ORDER SERVICES
In order to prepare a California Child Support Calculation, the client must complete a questionnaire about his or her financial circumstances and the financial circumstances of the other party. It will normally take about one hour of your time to complete the questionnaire. If the financial information is not available about the other party, it will be necessary for the client to request that information pursuant to California Law, which allows each party to require the other party to complete a financial form once each year for the purpose of determining correct child support. This form, which is filed out by you and mailed to the other party, will be emailed to you free of charge upon request. The child support calculation provided is based upon the information provided. If the parties cannot reach agreement based upon the information used for the calculation, and the parties end up in court to set support, the court will require proof of the income figures claimed by each party to determine support.
Modifications to documents:
ORDER SERVICES
If after the second consultation and finalization of documents, any modifications are charged at the rate of $350 per hour of attorney time.
